Hi everyone. This is Dr. Wishnie for another one-minute practice management tip. And today I want to talk about training. And there's a little system that you can actually learn and teach someone else how to train somebody perfectly well. And it goes like this:

  • First, I do it.
  • Then I do it and you are with me.
  • Then you do it and I am with you.
  • Then you do it and someone else is with you.

By learning and observing and learning how to do your job, and then teaching someone else, you then get to reinforce what you just learned. You will then have a wonderful staff member who eventually becomes a great leader for your organization.
