You know, we all like to have nice experiences when we go to our favorite restaurant or store and even a doctor's office. But do you know what research shows? Research shows that people remember peak experiences.
What's a peak experience? That's when something happened that was up and beyond what was expected. Where it made you feel really good, and you left that place going, "Wow, that was really a great experience". Those are the ones people remember and then they share.
So, why don't you gather your team around and figure out what is it that you could do? Take that extra second or two. It really doesn't take much to improve the encounters that you have with your patients every single day and take them from nice to peak experiences.
