Hi, it's Tina from Top Practices Virtual Practice Management Institute. You know, everyone at work wants their opinion to count. No employer or manager can survive alone, nor do they have all the answers. I found that out the hard way. And asking for and considering individual's input and leads, helped us to make more informed decisions in our practice. And it not only helped us to make more informed decisions, it encouraged new ideas to come out from those who were working in the practice. And that positively influenced our practice's business results in a positive way.  I became a more engaged manager. They became more engaged staff members and it promoted open dialogue and it provided honest feedback, you know, that we had with one another and we could talk about our opinions and our ideas, and the doctor and I could support the great ideas, but we also address the unfeasible ones and why we couldn't do it.

Effective managers, create feedback loops so their staff know that they can participate in conversations, submit ideas, and that their opinions matters. You know, it helps when you have more people involved in giving information about what you do every day and how to improvement. And that causes everyone to become more engaged and to have overall practice success.

If you want to talk about this more, email me at [email protected]. Talk to you later. Bye.
