Hi there everyone. This is Rem Jackson from Top Practices.

I saw this thing on Facebook recently, which I loved. And it showed your dog's calendar for the entire month. And every single day on the calendar said, "My best day ever. My best day ever. My best day ever." There is so much that we can learn from animals, from our dogs, our cats, our pets, because they live in the present moment. And they really aren't worrying about the past. They aren't thinking about the future. They're simply living in the present moment.

Now, we could look at our week, our month, our year, our lives in the same way. And I'll tell you how I've tried to approach that. So, I have worked now for probably about, probably about a year now, really working with my subconscious mind. The great Napoleon Hill actually spoke to his subconscious mind. He called him sub. And he would have conversations with sub and then have sub do work for him and work on things and basically protect his thinking. And your subconscious mind is a giant supercomputer. You know what? Our conscious mind is just a little tip of a massive iceberg. And that supercomputer has one job, and that's to help you. That's to help you with what you're thinking about on a regular basis. If those are worries and concerns and problems, your subconscious mind, and we call them sub, sub's just like, "Okay, we're going to have problems and worries and concerns. Let's do that." But instead, if you redirect your subconscious mind to really help you solve problems, handle your mindset, help you sleep better at night, all of a sudden you can harness an incredible power that can make you a lot happier.

So every night before I go to bed, I talked to my subconscious mind. I say, "Sub tonight, here's a list of things you were not to wake me up tonight thinking about. I do not want to think about this at all. I do however want you to work on it and try to present me with some really good solutions or ideas I haven't thought about in the morning. And then I just sort of pull a screen in front of all those problems and issues and let my subconscious mind work on those while it protects my sleep. And I say, I just want to have interesting and fun dreams. 9 1/2 times out of 10 after some practice that works for me and it can work for you. I'll generally get up in the middle of the night and use the bathroom, talk to sub, say, "Good job, keep it going. Wake up in the morning."

But in the morning, this is what I do every day to make it your best day ever. When I first become aware, you know, I'm conscious when I first wake up, I smile. Just a small little smile and all that smile does is remind me how blessed I am, how lucky I am. How the number and the amount of blessings that are on my shoulder, I can't carry any more blessing. It's so good. And then I say, "Okay, sub, nice job. Thank you. What do you got for me with ideas?" And you'd be amazed at some of the really interesting answers and solutions that I get. And then I say, "Sub, what's our goal today? Our goal today is to have the best day ever. To have a really good today." And I start my day that is my primary goal.

It doesn't really matter what happens. We all have problems. We all have challenges. We all have issues and I deal with those. But as I'm dealing with those, I'm not buying into the fact that those could crash my day. Cause my bigger goal is to have a great day. You can have your best day ever every single day. Give it a try. Let me know how it goes. Take care of yourselves. Take care of each other. Be safe, and I'll talk to you soon.
