You know, at the Virtual Practice Management Institute, we teach that everyone can be a leader in their position, but it takes three key things for you to truly be a leader.
The first one is is that you need to contribute. Yes, you have to contribute to the practice and whatever capacity it is that you work in. The next one is that you need to connect because if you're contributing, you need to connect with the people who work in the practice and really not only the people that work in the practice, but for the patients who come there every single day. Connect with them. And thirdly, you need to make a commitment. A commitment to what you believe in and what you believe the practice's goals and visions are. Because when anyone in the practice is not committed to what the goals and visions are, it's just not going to happen.
So, it's a great thing if you all sit down together and you discuss where is the practice going, and then you decide to commit, contribute, and connect with each other to get the job done.
