Hi, it's Tina. I'm here with your one-minute management tip. And today we're going to talk about changes and how to onboard changes into the practice smoother. The key is to tell everyone at the same time in the same way. Because let's face it, if you tell one person and then expect that person to tell someone else, you're playing the office version of the telephone game.

And that leads to frustration and mistakes and confusion. So, if at all possible, have a little team meeting with your entire staff. Have the change written down. Maybe it's a new way that you're gonna check in patients or you're adjusting your schedule to something new or how you order supplies. Put it in writing. Hold a brief meeting, tell everyone the instructions and what the change is. And then allow time for questions. Have them look it over, let them ask you questions, and then designate a go live date. Okay? So as of Monday, we're going to start doing this. Does everyone understand?

And then follow up, check in in a few days and say, how's it going? Are the changes working well? Do you see that we need to change anything about the changes? The thing is, is that when everyone hears the same thing and they're all on the same page, things will go smoother. If you have any questions, all you have to do is email me at Tina@TopPractices.com or Dr. Peter Wishnie at Peter@TopPractices.com. You take care. Bye.
