Hi, it's Tina and I'm here with your one minute management tip. You know, it seems like everyone who I talk to is having problems staffing their office. It just seems to be a very strange time when it's difficult to find people to come and work in the office. And in the medical field we need people to work hand on hand with patients. There are some things we can do virtually, but most of it takes someone being in the office. So when you do find someone that you can hire and bring into the office, what is it that you need to do in order for them to be successful, become engaged, and want to stay and not leave? Because employee turnover is really tremendous at this time, and there are many reasons why people leave their jobs.

One of the most high on the list is a lack of training.  People get hired, they think they understand what the position is all about, and it really isn't, and then they're not given the training that they need in order to be successful, so they leave. If you need help in developing your training program to ensure that when you hire that the employees want to stay,

all you have to do is email me at [email protected] or Dr. Peter Wishnie at [email protected]. If you are part of the Virtual Practice Management Institute, email me and I'll let you know what modules would really will help you to boost your training program. I look forward to talking to you.

You take care. Bye.
