Hi, it's Tina. And I'm here with your One Minute Management Tip. You know, it's not fun for anyone in the practice when you're caught being shorthanded and it's bound to happen. We have vacations, we have people who get sick, things come up, but there are a few things that you can do to prepare for this to make it easier when it does happen.

First of all, you can cross train the most important task for each person's position in the practice. Make sure that you have cheatsheets for the protocols to make the steps simple and clear. And then also have daily to-do lists for each position, for the most important things that just have to get done for the person who is stepping in to help out. They know that they're going to be able to follow those simple cheatsheet protocols and know what needs to get done.

And then finally, you're going to have to set aside some training time so that people can cross train for those important tasks. So that when you do have an absence or someone on a vacation, the practice is a lot happier place.

Well, I hope I've given you some food for thought. And I want to thank you for joining me. Bye.
