Hi, it's Tina and I'm here with your One Minute Management Tip.

Well, it's summertime and that can bring additional stress into the practice because people are taking vacations and we become shorthanded. So, I want to remind you of a lesson that you learned very early on in your life. Probably shortly after you started talking where our parents would say, remember to say "please" and "thank you". And when we did they would be so happy. Well, we have to remember that lesson a lot in our practices. When the days are frustrating or maybe a bit hectic because we're shorthanded.

If we could remember to say please and thank you to each other, our days will go better. And if you do have a frustrating day, make sure you talk about that frustration. Not in a negative, angry way, but in a "Gosh, this happened and that was frustrating. How could we have handled that better?" When we have communication among us, especially during times that are difficult, we bond better as a team and along with those "please" and "thank yous", they keep us a lot happier every single day.

Well, if you have any questions or if I can ever help you, just email me at [email protected] or Dr. Peter Wishnie at [email protected]. See you later. Have a wonderful summer.
