Hi, it's Tina, and I'm here with your one-minute management tip. You know that old saying you never get a second chance to make a first impression? Well, it is so true, especially when it comes to patients visiting our practice. A lot of times we're in our practice every single day, and we really don't notice the details unless we take the time to really look at them.

But our patients will pick them up just like that. So one of the things that you can do is to gather the staff around, go into the various treat rooms and any doors that are open in your practice when your patients are there and say, write down things that you see that look great, and things that might look out of place or not so good if you were seeing it for the first time. This way, you can really evaluate how your practice is looking. And not only your practice, but also the individuals who work in the practice. You need to make sure that you have a dress code standard that you follow, that everybody is neat and tidy as Walt Disney would say.

And that, you know, we look good. That we are presenting well when the patients come to visit our practice. Because we want to make a great first impression. Because we really don't get a second chance to do that. If you want any tips on how you can make sure your practice is in tip-top shape and neat and tidy, all you have to do is email me at [email protected] or Dr. Peter Wishnie at [email protected]. You take care. Bye.
