Hi, it's Tina, and I'm here with your one-minute management tip.

You know, it's really important that we build trust within ourselves, our group at the office, but also with our patients and the vendors that we work with, people at the hospitals or other clinics. And the best way is to be honest, always be honest. Tell the entire truth when situations arise, because when you hide details that's considered lying.

For example, you made a mistake and you didn't send a patient's either digital casts or casts out to the lab on time, somebody in the office forgot to do it, they got set aside in the lab, whatever the situation. The patient calls and wants to know where the orthotics are and you tell them "Oh, the lab well held them up." Or the lab is behind. You know what, that's not being honest. The patient would much rather know that the casts were delayed in getting out and it was a mistake on your part. And you share that with them, you apologize. Or better yet when you found that those casts hadn't been sent out to call the patient and let them know that an error had been made because when you admit that you're wrong and that you've made a mistake, that's a trust builder with people.

So remember that. Always be honest. Always tell the entire truth. That will build trust with others. If you have any questions you can email me at [email protected]. I hope you have a great day and stay safe out there. Bye, bye.
