Hi, it's Tina. And I'm here with your one-minute management tip. I know you've heard me talk about leadership before and that I am of the same mindset as Captain David Marquet in Turn Your Ship Around. Is that, I believe that everyone in the practice is a leader. And with that said, I found this great quote from a book that I'm going to be teaching from Simon Sinek's Leaders Eat Last, where Simon says, "You don't have to have a title to be a leader to take care of those to the right of you and to the left of you. Leadership is about putting the needs of others ahead of your own. It's not about being in charge. It's about taking care of those who are in your charge." And I think that that's just so critical. We need to take care of those around us. To help each other too.

When we realize that somebody's running behind or somebody maybe has a lot of work, they need to get done to jump in and to help them. That's leadership. When we care for one another and improving the way the practice runs overall when everyone is looking out for each other.

Well, if you have any questions regarding leadership, you can email me at [email protected] or Dr. Peter Wishnie who is a certified John Maxwell's leadership coach at [email protected]. Well, I hope you'd take this food for thought and care for all of the people around you that you work with. Take care and stay safe. Bye-bye now.
