Hi, it's Tina. And I'm here with your one-minute management tip and that is about personalities in the practice. Yes, every practice has different personalities with almost every single person that you have. There's really no two people alike. So what do we do about that? Because sometimes that causes a little rub or conflict in the practice. Well, the best thing you can do is for everybody to learn to understand one another. And how do you do that? By talking about it. Saying, you know, we're going to have several meetings throughout the year, and we're going to find out more about one another and how we feel about certain things and how we react to certain things. And then maybe your first question is going to be, "How do you deal with stress in the practice?" And let people talk about how they feel about that.

"How do you feel when you have more work that needs to be done, than you can get done?" "How do you feel when a patient is upset?" "How do you feel when you think your coworker isn't happy with you?" So that we can understand how each other react and to who we are. The better we understand each other, the better we'll be able to work together.

You know, my Italian father always used to say, "Tina, everybody is so different." And that's what you would want, how boring life would be. If we were all alike. We would just be like robots. And no one would like that. Well, if you have any questions or want to know how to deal with the personality differences, and rubs that you have in your practice, all you have to do is email me at [email protected] or Dr. Peter Wishnie at [email protected]. You take care and stay safe. Bye.
