Hi, it's Tina and I'm here with your one minute management tip. What is one of the, well, it actually is the biggest issue that we have in creating problems in our office with our patients, with our coworkers, with one another. It's communication. That's right. Communication. We think we're communicating and actually we're not.

We're not doing it very well. It really takes a lot of practice and developing skills to speak clearly and concisely. And it even takes more skill and time to listen to people who are speaking to us so that we can seek for understanding. I found a great book, it's called Crucial Conversations. It really helps in understanding more about how we need to communicate in order to be effective in what we're trying to get across, and then also how we are to listen so for understanding. Now, if you're part of the Virtual Practice Management Institute, you know we have several modules in there. And if you dive in and review them with everyone in the office, it's only going to prove the communication that you have.
