Today’s one-minute practice management tip is on communication - the best way to communicate, and that’s through active listening. When a patient speaks, look at the patient, look at their eyes and actually be active and do not interrupt when they’re speaking. How do you know if the patient can actually see that you’re listening? That is by repeating back what they’re saying. By repeating back they know, “Hey, my doctor’s listening to me.” That will give you better rapport and then you will get better results. So, my friends, stay focused and listen actively. Thank you.
