Hi. Dr. Peter Wishnie, and here's another One Minute Practice Management Tip.

Do you have a biller or a collector? The difference is very simple. A biller is someone that can send out your billings. A collector not only sends our your billings, but will collect all the monies that are due to the practice. That is even more important. The collector is able to collect money from patients as well as insurance companies.

So check your AR reports every single day. Also, collect all your deductibles and co-payments at the time of service and stay on top of your collections.

If you need any help with this, just email me at [email protected] or become a member of VPMI. Go to TopPractices.com and join the VPMI. Until another day, stay focused, my friends and have a great day.
