Hi, it's Tina. And I'm here with your one-minute management tip. You know, it's so much easier to blame circumstances or someone else when you have failed to be accountable for something that you needed to do. And the thing is, is that you are only fooling yourself putting blinders on you because everyone else can see clearly that it was you who wasn't accountable. And no one likes working with people who won't be accountable for what they are responsible for.

One of the main things is, is that everyone in the practice needs to understand what their responsible and accountable for. It's a very simple thing to do when you have protocols, job descriptions, and job task sheets.

If you belong to the VPMI program through Top Practices, you can go into the modules there that we have all of those tools for you. Plus, videos and articles on holding one another accountable and what accountability is in the practice. Because if you don't have people who are accountable in the practice for what they do, then the practice will never be as successful as it could be.

If you have any questions or want to know how you can set up a system where everyone is more accountable in the practice so that your practice can move ahead to the next level, just email me at [email protected] or Dr. Peter Wishnie at [email protected]. Take care. Bye.
