There's a phrase that's been on my mind recently. I learned it when I was in French class in high school, and here it is: "la semaine est longue mais la vie est courte". Which translates, the week is long, but life is short. And I think that's particularly relevant right now for all of us as we're in the middle of this ongoing crisis and we're dealing with all that comes with it and all the concern and all the worry.
These next few weeks will continue to be very long. The days can be long. We can find the silver linings that are inside this dark cloud and there are great many, but still at this point in time, the weeks are long. Yet, this is going to be over in the blink of an eye. Before you know it, it will be the summer and you will be busier than you have ever been due to all the pent up demand. Imagine this. How easy is it going to be to get a dental appointment? As soon as everything's lifted to get your hair cut, everyone's going to be busier than they've ever been in that regard. I don't know about the larger economy, but I do know that in podiatry. There are a lot of people that need your help and they are coming.
So hang in there, be strong, be resilient, and just know that this will all be over in the blink of an eye. The world will be changed after that. I know, but we will be back at it very quickly. Stay healthy, take care of yourself and each other. I'll talk to you soon.
