Here it comes again.  Every week it comes and it hits you like a big whirl-wind. You know it is coming but you still say, “Oh, I can’t believe its Monday. I hate Mondays.”

Well, there is an universal law of success which will help you with this Mondayitis. This law is the law of gratitude. I want you to find 5 things you are grateful for, and every Sundaychalkboard sign that says night I want you to write them down. No matter what is happening in your life, you can find something you are grateful for.

It could be your children, your health, or even simpler things, like the sun, or the flowers. We all have things we can be grateful for. Being grateful for what we have gives us joy.

Now, the opposite of gratitude is just feeling sorry for ourselves. When we focus on the negative things that are happening, we become miserable and tired. This zaps your energy and closes your mind to planning and strategy. Being grateful leads to being appreciative of others and takes the focus off of you. This frees your mind to allow your subconscious to come up with solutions to your major life problems.

The key to life is to stay positive and that can only occur if you are grateful for everything you have. Every night grab your new gratitude journal and write down three to five things you are grateful for and then reflect on them. Take ten minutes every morning to review what you wrote. This will help you start your day off right.

Just one more thing - I am grateful that you have read this.
