"In times of change, the learners will inherit the earth, while the knowers remain well prepared for a world that no longer exists" - Eric Hoffer
There are two ways you can view the coming changes in Podiatry. You can, as many do, see a future in which you have to work harder, see more patients, be paid less, and struggle just to maintain the levels you are at now.
Or
You can view the upcoming changes as an opportunity (possibly the greatest opportunity in your career) to move your practice forward and build the practice you want instead of accepting the practice that just continues to walk in the door. The building blocks are all there if you are willing to open your mind to the possibilities. Consider the following:
1. As our population ages there will be an increasingly large group of people (the largest generation in the history of the human race) experiencing an ever increasing series of problems with their feet and ankles.
2. As the government and other forces continue to intrude into health care, those podiatrists who are prepared to deal with change will find themselves increasingly in demand to treat this expanding population as those who are unwilling to adapt leave the profession.
3. The services that a podiatrist is now able to offer his/her patients are continuing to grow significantly, offering podiatrists the ability to provide a very high level of care and increase the health of the bottom line of their practice as well.
4. There is now a deeper understanding of how to market a podiatric practice that simply didn't exist in the past.
5. A culture of sharing best practices is emerging in the profession.
Succeeding in the future is ultimately up to you and no one else
These forces combined with your willingness to embrace them with a positive mental attitude will sort out who will thrive in the coming years and who will be broken by the challenges ahead. The good news is that this is entirely your choice and no one can take it from you -except yourself.

Is Top Practices Right for Me and My Podiatry Practice?
I get this question a lot, and it is a very good one. My best answer is that Top Practices is NOT for everybody and it might not be for you. You are the best judge of that. What I can tell is who Top Practices is right for and then you decide if this is you.
First, it doesn't matter what the size of your practice is. We have multi-doctor, multi-office, multi-million dollar practices in the group and we have small solo doctor offices.
Second, it doesn't matter where you are located, big city, rural, west, south north -because we have members all over North America.
Finally, it doesn't matter whether you are very new (first five years in practice) or if you've been practicing for 30 years, because some of our most engaged and successful members are in both of these categories.
What does matter, what makes the difference is your mindset, your approach and your willingness to roll up your sleeves and actually change your practice for the better. Many people say they want more patients, more cash flow, and a less stressful practice, and we all believe that we want this enough to make some changes, but, in reality, most of us lose interest in growth and development rather quickly and revert back to the same old patterns that we are used to. The problem with this is that we get the same old results and as it gets more difficult to practice (and it is) the same old results just aren't good enough to enable us to live the lives we really want.
A Rising Tide Floats ALL the Boats
So Top Practices may be for you if you are willing to learn a new and effective way to market your practice. Learning this is just like learning anything else new. It takes time, it takes investment in learning and putting programs into place that will allow your practice to grow in double digits year over year. And it takes a commitment to sticking with the group and continuing to grow with it. Many people, after they join the Mastermind Group are literally shocked that the doctors in the group actually share at the level that they do. Most people are so used to others holding back vital information because they are afraid that if they share it, then they won't have an edge on their competitors. The members of the group know that a rising tide floats all the boats and the more info we can share about what's working the more that others will share with them. And that is exactly how we conduct ourselves in the Top Practices Mastermind Group.
What Are Your Colleagues Saying About Top Practices?
It's important that you hear from our actual members. Podiatrists who have seen tremendous gain and results from becoming a member of Top Practices and implementing our strategies and programs. Here are just a few of their experiences in their own words.
I work very hard to make learning the practice building strategies we use as easy as possible and I have a team of people who are prepared to help you get things done with a minimum of effort. BUT it still requires effort and attention. Top Practices is not for doctors who want a magic pill, or doctors who are so fried by the sea of negativity around them that they can't see the light at the end of the tunnel.
But if you are still excited about practicing podiatry, and you are willing to roll up your sleeves and take a risk that everything I've told you about this unique group is true, and you are willing to plug in and learn a system from me and the best practices from your own colleagues, then Top Practices might just be for you.
If you'd like to know more about how to join Top Practices just click on this application you can learn much more.
We Don't Play Games
I can tell you this. When you join the Top Practices Mastermind Group, there are no minimum contracts, or time periods. I believe that you should only be in this group if it is enabling you to solve your business development challenges and if it is providing you with the kind of support that makes practicing podiatry enjoyable each and every day. You can always leave the group at any time by simply telling us you want to leave. It's that simple. And many of our members have been in the group since we started in Jan of 2007.
Marketing your practice doesn't have to be frustrating and it should never cost you any money. Your return should be far in excess of anything you spend. If that makes sense to you, then Top Practices might just be for you.
If you'd like to join now just fill out the application and fax it back to me. I'll contact you immediately and let you know if your area is available.
Dedicated to your Success,
