Leaders are learners, and you can’t learn by speaking. You can only really learn if you listen. We have two ears and one mouth and that’s because we should listen twice as much as we speak.
We’re too busy today. That’s because we’re too busy with our phones, with life, and we want everyone to get to the point. But you know what? If you really really want to lead others, you need to learn by listening. Lee Iacocca said, “the difference between a great company and a mediocre company is that a great companies will listen.” So folks, use today, I want you to go out and try to listen to people. Do not interrupt them. Just listen and learn. Stay focused my friends.
