Hi, I'm Dr. Peter Wishnie and here's another One Minute Practice Management Tip.

Do you ever get aggravated over patients? Well, we all do but there's no need to. Some people just don't want to be helped. You want to help every single person and it's frustrating when people don't get the help they need.

So, here's an example: Do you ever have patients that might need orthotics or want orthotics? They sign a waiver form that says they're going to get the orthotics. They know how much it cost. And you know what? You call them up and tell them to come on in to get them and they decide at that moment they don't want them anymore.

So, what do you do? First of all, when you cast them for the orthotics, get half down, get a down payment. That will help a lot of problems. And you know what? Some people just won't want the orthotics for whatever reason. Buyer's remorse or they feel great and they don't know why they need them.

So, that means you need to explain to him why they need it. They're also there's some people who like maybe it's money they say they willing to pay the money but they don't. You need to decide if it's worth your aggravation to continue with that patient. If it aggravates you and it cost your practice a lot of time, it cost your practice money then. So, you can easily say, well, I understand, and I wish you well. If there is anything I could do for you. We are here for you and call it a day.

So, no need to get aggravated. Stay focused, my friends. Stay happy and continue on. Until later, have a good day.
